We are seeking a seasoned DevOps Engineer with an experience of 5 years and above to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in AWS, GitHub, Postman, automation, cloud security, networking, and identity management. This role will involve designing, implementing, and maintaining our development pipelines, infrastructure, and security protocols to ensure seamless deployment and operation of our applications.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
Experience: 5 years of experience in DevOps, with a strong focus on AWS, GitHub, and automation.
Technical Skills: o Proficient in AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.).
Strong experience with GitHub for version control.
Expertise in using Postman for API testing and automation.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS Code Pipeline, etc.).
Solid understanding of cloud security principles and practices.
Strong networking skills within cloud environments.
Experience with identity management solutions (AWS IAM, SSO, etc.).
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, ELK Stack, Prometheus, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or similar certification.
Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
Responsibilities
Infrastructure Management: Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and efficient infrastructure on AWS.
Version Control: Utilize GitHub for source control management, ensuring best practices in code management, branch strategies, and collaboration.
API Testing: Use Postman for API development, testing, and automation to ensure robust and reliable APIs.
Automation: Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS Code Pipeline to automate builds, tests, and deployments.
Cloud Security: Implement and manage cloud security best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, and monitoring.
Networking: Configure and manage networking components on AWS, including VPCs, subnets, security groups, and load balancers.
Identity Management: Implement and manage identity management solutions, ensuring secure and streamlined user authentication and authorization.
Monitoring and Logging: Set up and maintain monitoring and logging tools to ensure system health, performance, and security.
Collaboration: Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Documentation: Maintain clear and concise documentation of processes, configurations, and procedures.
